Defne Kaya
Defne previously edited a bilingual cultural geography quarterly and spent several seasons documenting stone granaries along the Taurus Mountains. She grew up in a family of educators near the Gulf of Edremit and studied regional history. Her reporting focuses on traditional irrigation channels, inland markets, and small town museums.
