Murat studied soil science and spent over a decade documenting terraced tea gardens and hazelnut orchards in the Pontic Alps. He regularly walks seasonal trails between mountain hamlets and river valleys. His stories explore cooperative seed banks, copper pot cooking, and honey harvests.
